How the Couple Met
Caroline and JR’s love story began at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), where mutual friends set them up for a college date party. What started as a fun night out quickly blossomed into an eight-year journey together. On April 4, 2026, the couple celebrated their eight-year anniversary, just 20 days before saying “I do!”
Through the years, their bond only grew stronger, a partnership that carried seamlessly into their wedding planning. “Marriage is teamwork and that starts with the wedding planning,” Caroline shares. “Doing it together made sure that we both got the day we dreamed of.”
The Wedding Day
The couple tied the knot on April 24, 2026, surrounded by lush scenery and their favorite people. To honor heritage and bring their loved ones close, they incorporated a traditional Celtic ring warming ceremony, allowing guests to hold and bless their wedding bands before the vows were exchanged.
Every detail was brought to life with the help of Primrose Cottage and Magic Moments. “They were there for every step of wedding planning, always answering our calls with the million questions we had and pulling off the most beautiful wedding,” writes the bride. Adding to the intimacy of the morning, the bride’s lifelong friend, Sarah Fox, did her wedding makeup, making the prep feel all the more special.
Caroline & JR’s Favorite Moment
When reflecting on the night, the love and energy in the room stood out above all else. “The band was incredible, and the speeches showed that who we surround ourselves with are people who truly care and love for us,” the bride recalls.
To kick the reception into high gear, the newlyweds surprised their guests with a double second-look reveal. “It was so fun to see the reactions to not only me changing, but also my husband!”
