Shannon & Leonard’s Wedding at The Conservatory at Blackberry Ridge

Shannon & Leonard’s wedding at The Conservatory at Blackberry Ridge was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and modern, intentional design. Set against a serene waterfront backdrop, their day unfolded with refined details, romantic florals, and unforgettable moments from start to finish.

The Bridal Look

From the very beginning, Shannon’s bridal look set the tone. Her custom gown by Alonuko Bridal was nothing short of breathtaking. After attending a trunk show and visiting the brand’s London showroom, she selected a design that felt uniquely her, featuring sculptural off-the-shoulder sleeves and a sleek, modern silhouette that balanced softness with structure. Paired with a classic white rose bouquet, her look was effortlessly sophisticated.

The Ceremony

A ceremony designed with depth, scale, and intention. For Shannon & Leonard, the domed pavilion at The Conservatory at Blackberry Ridge became the architectural anchor for a fully immersive floral installation, sculptural aisle moments, custom urn arrangements, and a layered ceremony frame in warm ivory, honeyed toffee, and champagne tones.

Every bloom thoughtfully curated. Every sightline carefully considered. Every detail executed with precision. This is what it looks like when design, production, and hospitality align seamlessly.

The ceremony took place beneath a stunning white rotunda, completely adorned with lush ivory and peach florals by Blosm. Overlooking the water, the setting felt both grand and intimate, creating a truly picturesque moment as Shannon made her way down the aisle.

Honoring Heritage

Honoring their heritage was an important part of the celebration. Shannon & Leonard incorporated the tradition of jumping the broom, symbolizing sweeping away the past and stepping into a new life together.

She also carried a deeply personal piece of her family history, her late grandmother’s shawl, worn at her parents’ wedding 47 years ago – as her “something blue.” It was used to wrap both her bouquet and her mother’s, creating a powerful connection between generations and making the day even more meaningful.

Thoughtful Signature Details

Throughout the day, thoughtful design elements added personality and charm. One standout detail was the black-and-gold signature drink display, featuring favorites like the French 75 and Manhattan, both a functional feature and a statement piece within the overall aesthetic.

Guests were also invited to step into a vintage-inspired phone booth audio guest book, leaving behind heartfelt, funny, and candid messages the couple can cherish for years to come.

The Reception

Inside the conservatory, the reception space felt warm, elevated, and inviting. Rich wood tones paired beautifully with elegant place settings and dramatic hanging floral installations, creating a romantic atmosphere that carried throughout the evening.

As the sun set, the space transformed into a glowing, candlelit celebration filled with laughter, music, and meaningful moments.

A Perfect Ending

Shannon & Leonard’s day ended on the sweetest note—champagne in hand, surrounded by loved ones, soaking in the joy of it all. Their wedding is a beautiful reminder that when classic style meets intentional details, layered storytelling, and meaningful tradition, the result is something truly unforgettable. ✨
